In seeking to heal yourself, it’s very important
to be patient – with yourself, the remedies
and treatments you’re receiving and the
practitioner you have chosen to help you.
Follow through with the correct dosage.
Don’t change things and, instead, if
something doesn’t appear to be working well
for you or if symptoms arise contact your
practitioner. Dosages are tailor-made for you
and sometimes they need to be adjusted over
time. On rare occasions, things may appea r
worse before they get better. This is more
apparent with homoeopathy, yet herbal
medicine can also trigger this “ healing
crisis” especially when administered in drop
dosage. It really depends on the individual
and the program they have been given.
Rarely does this setback last longer than 3-5
days a nd then it resolves.
Chronic cases can take quite a while to
resolve. As I mentioned in my earlier article,
it’s like “peeling away the layers of the
onion”. If you are not prepared to do a deep
healing on yourself and fully resolve what is
troubling you then you have given up before
Keep up regula r appointments. This is ver y
importa nt at the beginning where you may
need to attend weekly for a while and, as you
improve, fortnightly. The usual progression
is to monthly appointments and you are
then encouraged to look at maintenance
with a visit once ever y 6-8 weeks. Each
ca se is different. You ca nnot compare the
duration of treatment for an injury with that
of a n orga nic problem affecting organ or
system f unction, such as a gastro intestinal,
respiratory or endocrine condition.
Be prepared (if relevant) to have f unctional
lab tests other than just conventional blood
tests, which are limited in presenting an
in-depth view of your mineral, vitamin,
hormonal and immune status. Other tests
such as stool a nalysis, para sites, chemical
and food allergy tests, and thermography are
given for specific situations.
If you have amalgams consider having them
removed. Mercury poisoning ca n affect your
entire system. Some people have experienced
ill health on many levels due to amalgams
There are t wo schools of thought
rega rding this topic, however I have spoken
to people who observed a reduction in ocula r
pressure (known a s ocular hypertension) and
a reduction in blood pressure after having
amalgams removed. I myself experienced
increased energy and greater clarity of mind
after having two amalgams removed.
Many dentists still believe ama lgam
fillings that contain mercury are perfectly
safe. You can do your own research on this
topic. But it’s worth considering why are
nutritionists concerned about mercury in
fish a nd why are pregnant women told to
cut back on fish consumption for this ver y
reason? Mercury is toxic and we don’t need
it in our body. It affects the brain and central
ner vous system.
Get Active !
If you have been a couch potato and avoided
exercise then be prepared to get active! Ever y
one of us needs to move. We need to get
that body pumping each day, not just for
circulation but for lymphatics as well. Your
entire metabolism works far more efficiently
if you move that body with intention daily.
Learn to meditate! It’s one of the greatest
healing tools you can bring on board to
complement a ny treatment regime. And
you can choose from many different styles
guided by a speaker, listening to music
or soothing sounds, open eyed, Tibetan
white light and so on. I teach creative
visualisation which does not encroach on
anyone’s spiritual and cultural beliefs a nd is
ea sy to master and deeply rela xing. Specific
journeys cater for each person’s unique
needs. Meditation calms the mind and helps
alleviate a nxiety and stress, something that
is so important when you are on a healing
progra m and that includes weight loss! You
ca n lea rn to work with the power of your
mind to create weight loss in line with your
healthy diet a nd regular exercise when the
exercises are tailored made for you.
Ensure you get 7-8 hours of unbroken
sleep each night. A ny sleep problems need
to be addressed and resolved. Herbal and
homoeopathic remedies are brilliant for
establishing regular sleep patterns. It could
also be that you are deficient in certain
minerals and this also needs to be addressed.
No amount of guesswork will help when it
comes to administering mineral and vitamin
remedies. Instead, relevant tests need to be
taken to check out imbala nces.
In order to heal ever yone needs an efficient
digestive system. A ny issues here near to be
addressed immediately so that healing can
begin. When your digestion is impaired in any
way, such as with mal absorption, leaky gut
syndrome or allergies, you will not improve
other aspects of your health. We must get the
gut working right first. A healthy immune
system is reliant on a healthy digestive system.
Your diet would need tweaking or maybe
changing quite a bit to help heal the gut

It is so important that we all maintain our
inner power as this equates to our self esteem

to “ca ll their Spirit back ”, recognising that
when we lose our power we have lost our
Spirit. We become wea k and vulnerable;
we are run down and vulnerable not just to
physical imbalance but energy and spiritual
imbalance. Our immunity is greatly affected.
The centre of the Inner Power is located
at the solar plexus gateway and is a very
important area to strengthen since it is also
considered our “stress centre”. On a physical
level, this area is where the entire digestive
system operates. The solar plexus gateway
resides over the area that resonates with the
energy and colour of yellow. The yellow ba nd
that travels around your mid section (in line
with chakra colour healing) also includes
the liver, gall bladder, pa ncrea s, duodenum,
spleen, kidneys, adrenals and, of course,
the stomach. So, all these organs would be
a ffected when you lose your inner power.
Energy healing in many forms, including
Reiki, in conjunction with guided healing
journeys ca n help re-establish your inner
power. This is a two-way connection. You
would participate during the healing session
to re-establish this equilibrium.
Healing comes from deep within. It is
not just the physical but also the mental/
emotional/energetic and spiritual bodies
that must be aligned with the Soul. To fully
heal, we heal at the Soul level. However, the
physical body needs the correct nutrients
a nd support from appropriate remedies and
diet since we cannot sepa rate these layers of
who we are as a whole.
Chronic cases will take longer. All I can
suggest is that you don’t put it off any longer.

start now and take steps to heal and resolve
it and seek help from a qualified natural
medicine practitioner now. Be prepared to
make a sacrifice – maybe more than one!
Your perspective on life may cha nge and that
is a good thing in many cases. Yes it may be
scary to begin with but change is good and
if you wish to heal you can’t avoid it.
