"How to Meditate
a Zen Monk...
If you'd like to meditate as deeply (actually
more deeply) than a Zen monk, literally at
the touch of a button, this may be one of the
most important messages you will ever read.
Here is why...
Based in part on Nobel Prize-winning
research on how "complex systems" (human
beings, for instance) evolve to higher levels
of functioning, a mental improvement
program has been created utilising a powerful
audio technology called Holosync®.
A precise combination of audio signals gives
the brain a very specific stimulus that creates
states of deep meditation --- and causes the
creation of new mind-enhancing neural
connections between left and right brain
Here's what other Australians are
saying about Holosync® ...
"I've had a massive decrease in my stress
level. I sit for 1½ hours in peak hour traffic
and arrive at work cheerful and unfazed."
- Janet Prentice, Sydney, NSW
"I sleep beautifully, concentrate with ease,
people have commented on how confident
and well I look." - Gregory O'Keeffe, Qld
"I am now happy and content. I am awake
and alert at 6.00am after a wonderful sleep
and have lots of energy."
- Anna Van Raay, Burwood, Vic
"I am more centred and happy. My brain
feels like it has been switched on."
- Doris Ruiner, Gleniffer, NSW
"I am sleeping better and best of all, my
health is now gradually improving."
- Margaret Farrar, Qld

Imagine then the healing that's possible
when the mandala consists of boxes
of vegetables grown by school kids as
part of a "sustainable gardening for life"
scheme. The mandala full of the lifeforce
of fresh veges will form the centrepiece
of the Footbeat 'Environmental Expo'
at Wentworth Falls TAFE in the Blue
Mountains from October 23 to 25.
The Footbeat Festival organised the
Sustainable Gardening for Life initiative,
believed to be the first of its kind in
Australia, as a 10 week outreach project
in partnership with the Blue Mountains
City Council. Primary and secondary
schools have been given the opportunity
to set up a garden plot at their schools or
develop an existing plot and create and
maintain their own individual gardening
Project Coordinator Dr Nigel Glassey
said, "Our aim is to show the kids how they
are a part of the greater connectedness
of all systems of life." The seedlings have
been provided by the Blue Mountains
Community Gardens and the Footbeat
organisers have donated $200 to each
school. BMCC have also generously
donated recycling crates, resources and
Parents have also been involved in
the project, bringing along any unused
recycling crates and helping with the
planting, watering and supervising kids.
Schools participating include
Glenbrook, Warrimoo, Wentworth Falls,
Katoomba and North Katoomba Primary
Schools, as well as Leura and Blue
Mountains Home School Network.
Katoomba High School, Steiner and
Korowal Schools are also onboard.
The curriculum is based on "practical
sustainability" and aims to educate school
children about the circle of life and how
everything is interconnected. Volunteers,
all with backgrounds in permaculture
and teaching, are facilitating the program
and have been assigned to each school.
Teachers and parents are also being
offered additional training so the garden
plots thrive beyond the program to
ensure they remain sustainable.
The theme of environmental
sustainability will be carried through to
the final night of the festival with a massive
community stage show, "The Sacred
Earth Spectacular". Students are also
invited to exhibit their garden projects
at the annual Festival of Joy at Katoomba
Community Gardens on October 10. ●
