"Change your mind, change
the world" is the theme
young Buddhists have
developed for the 2010
Buddhist Spring Festival at the Tibetan
Buddhist Society's Melbourne centre on
the weekend of November 6 and 7.
The Society's spiritual leader, 87 year
old Tibetan meditation master and scholar
Venerable Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden
said, "Many people, especially young
people, are looking for a kinder, more
compassionate world that values our
common humanity and transcends issues
of race, politics and war.
"From a Buddhist perspective, this
change starts with us and our world. We
can use meditation to develop the qualities
of compassion, kindness, strength and
wisdom and we can build a world that
cares for everyone, regardless of race,
gender or religion."
Over two days, the festival lecture
series will explore the art of finding
happiness in every moment with
compassion and a kind heart, and the
benefits of meditation to help us think
clearly, balance emotions and strengthen
The Ceremony for World Peace on

universal harmony. The ceremony will
be held in the Tibetan Buddhist Society's
traditional Tibetan temple.

"How to Meditate
a Zen Monk...
If you'd like to meditate as deeply (actually
more deeply) than a Zen monk, literally at
the touch of a button, this may be one of the
most important messages you will ever read.
Here is why...
Based in part on Nobel Prize-winning
research on how "complex systems" (human
beings, for instance) evolve to higher levels
of functioning, a mental improvement
program has been created utilising a powerful
audio technology called Holosync®.
A precise combination of audio signals gives
the brain a very specific stimulus that creates
states of deep meditation --- and causes the
creation of new mind-enhancing neural
connections between left and right brain
Here's what other Australians are
saying about Holosync® ...
"I've had a massive decrease in my stress
level. I sit for 1½ hours in peak hour traffic
and arrive at work cheerful and unfazed."
- Janet Prentice, Sydney, NSW
"I sleep beautifully, concentrate with ease,
people have commented on how confident
and well I look." - Gregory O'Keeffe, Qld
"I am now happy and content. I am awake
and alert at 6.00am after a wonderful sleep
and have lots of energy."
- Anna Van Raay, Burwood, Vic
"I am more centred and happy. My brain
feels like it has been switched on."
- Doris Ruiner, Gleniffer, NSW
"I am sleeping better and best of all, my
health is now gradually improving."
- Margaret Farrar, Qld
